A clinic focused on AMD

AMD Clinic exists for patients who want clear, specialist advice about macular degeneration.

Some patients come because they have symptoms. Others have been told they are at risk. Some already have AMD and want careful monitoring, a second opinion, or a clearer explanation of their options.

The aim is simple: to help you understand what is happening with your eyes, what your level of risk is, and what the next step should be.

Extensive experience in AMD treatment

Treatment recommendations are always based on the individual patient's examination, scans and clinical findings.

What you can expect

Your appointment is designed to make AMD feel clearer, more practical and less uncertain.

A careful AMD assessment

Your appointment is focused on understanding your eye health, your symptoms, your risk factors and any previous findings.

Clear explanation of your scans

Where scans or imaging are used, the results are explained in plain language so you understand what has been found.

Practical next steps

You will be told whether monitoring, treatment, further investigation or reassurance is the right next step.

Continuity

The same specialist, a clearer conversation

Many patients prefer seeing the same doctor over time, especially when AMD is being monitored or treatment decisions need to be reviewed.

At AMD Clinic, your history, concerns and previous findings can be understood in context. This helps make each appointment more useful, more personal and less repetitive.

Why this matters

  • Your history and concerns are understood in context
  • Subtle changes can be discussed against previous findings
  • You can ask questions directly to the specialist
  • Your plan can be adjusted as your eyes and priorities change
